25/10/25 Make a dried flower harvest decoration, 10–1pm
VENUE: Longtown Village Hall, HR2 0LD
COURSE TUTOR: Natalie Seber, Fleur Amelia
Natalie: “I started growing my own flowers to dry a few years ago as I rediscovered my love of arranging with them, which I'd done for a short time as a teenager.
Being self-taught is quite challenging so my cutting patch is relatively small as it has to be manageable for one! I sell fresh bunches from my gate in Michaelchurch Escley and at our local shop in Longtown as well as taking orders for hand-tied bouquets, and arrangements for all occasions. I love to work with fresh and dried flowers and it has been wonderful to share my arrangements at public events like weddings and markets. I look forward to sharing my latest techniques.”
What to expect
Join Natalie to make a choice of:
a harvest wreath, with willow work provided by fellow tutor Sarah Adby, teaching basket weaving at Longtown on the same day (25/10/2025)
a dried flower “sheaf” a traditional design that often includes dried wheat and fits with the arts festival theme of “Harvest”.
Natalie will demonstrate both arrangements and you can choose your own to make and take home.
All materials included. If you’re under 16 you must come with an adult.
