26/10/25 Harvest colour art, 2-4.30pm
VENUE: Longtown Village Hall, HR2 0LD
COURSE TUTOR: Emma Thacker-Vuts, art & design skills tutor
Emma specialises in igniting and furthering creative self-expression and confidence. With over 30 years of tutoring experience, she works in Herefordshire with individuals and community group workshops. The aim of Emma’s work is to explore a wide range of media and skills that inspire and enable others.
What to expect
Appropriate for beginners and more experienced creatives (aged 16+)
In this workshop Emma will support up to 6 participants. Inspiration will come from the vibrant and warm colours and shapes of harvest produce. Firstly, you will learn about and explore materials. This will be through relaxed experimentation, including drawing with water-based and permanent ink pens and applying a colour wash with acrylic inks. Then you will be closely supported to refine your new skills and produce a unique, individual piece of artwork on A3 watercolour paper.
All materials and equipment provided. Please bring an apron or old shirt.
